I think I am addicted to testing products -

Sooo. I picked TW Ulitmate Gloss up - I have seen a few good posts about it and for 7 bucks for the paste can I figured I would give a try. The web site says you can layer it so I am guessing it has no cleaning ability (more on that..)

It's a very hard past and you get a lot for your 7 bucks...I applied it all by hand using the included applicator - the wax really doesn't have a smell other than like wax (no berryfresh or mountain rain ) and no odd color - just looks like wax in a green can. It was a little odd in that it seems to have small balls in it or tiny chunks if you will...

I applied it to my freshly S&W'ed car which is sporting two coats of Wolfgang's (for my review on that check rabbi's thread where i add my two cents). The TW went on very smooth and a little goes a long way..infact that may be a problem with the average user it is way too easy to put on too much...

I applied it to the whole car in stages - hood, left front quarter panel, half the roof and two doors. I left it to dry and then used a Mullet Wax Awesome Polishing cloth to remove. When you put too much on, it's hard to come off and tends to powder. This was the case with the hood - I put way to much on, but once I broke the crust it came off. The quarterpanel, roof and doors I applied a lot less and it buffed right out. I finished the rest of the car applying as thin a coat as I could. Done this way there is almost no powder and it does not stain trim at all!!

The sun was going down so I had some time to take a few shots but nothing with good sunlight -

I'm impressed - really impressed for 7 bucks - really glossy wet look finish. I'm not 100% sure but since the web site said it was layerable I am guessing I did not remove the wolfgang's - it's a nice looking combo and really impressive off the shelf product - check it out -

here ya go - sorry it was getting dark out so the lighting kind of sucks and I had to use my old digital camera since my roomate borrowed my new one for his trip

:) hope y'all enjoy

This is in my garage and I got some weird effects from the flash but you can really see the wet glossy look on da car!

Ive used Turtle Ultra on 3 cars, it is a very good product. I did a dark green a dark blue and a white car . Their is a noticeable improvment in the dept and gloss. In the 2 dark colors you can see a clear reflection of your face in the hood and trunk ,and the white car just glows. All 3 cars are in great shape so no prep was needed. Turtle is easy to use , it took just 55 minutes to wax both white car and blue car total.

heh - oh I'm not claiming that the TW did it all - but as a topper to the Wolfgangs it added a some depth and shine and a wet look - and made the finish really really slick. I plan on doing my roomate's truck with it this weekend - that's had no surface prep for a while now..that will be a good test to see how it comes out..I'll post pics Saturday.

How is the TW holding up?

I was just given 2 full size samples of it (1 paste and 1 liquid) and I was gonna try it on the GF's silver civic.
