Trached Porsche and a hammered DENALI *56K*

EBPcivicsi

GOT PREP?
First up is a Porsche Carrera, this car was in pretty rough shape. Swirls/marring, heavy contamination, and assorted interior filth made this quite the project. I had the car for 1.5 days and needed every bit of it to complete the work.

Process was:

Wash

Clay

OHC @15000RPM’s with a green LC CCS pad

PO106FF @1200 RPM’s with a black wolfgang finishing pad

Meguiars #20

Tires wear hyperdressing 1:1 (note the Michelin high gloss factor)

Wheels were sealed with wheel wax, then rim ICE

Interior was vacuumed, shampooed/extracted.

Leather was cleaned with valuguard leather cleaner and a steamer (triangle attachment with MF). I then dressed it with valugaurd’s leather protectant

Here is a Denali that believe it or not sees construction duty during the week????

Yes it was hammered, inside and out…

OHC @1500 RPM's with an orange LC low profile pad

PO106FF @1200 RPM's with a wolfgang finishing pad

OCW x2

interior was steamed, shampooed/extratced, etc..

Half polished, half untouched…

fantastic as always! :bow

How did you clean the Porsche engine?

Sorry, I should have stated that I steamed it by hand, then dressed it hyperdressing 4:1. The steaming involved valuguard APC 8:1 and a lot of MF. :D

Sweet work. I've said it 100 times....Your work on wheels really impresses me. I see you're finishing with a rotary now. Is your PC collecting dust as of late? I could swear I remember you using the Blackfire finishing polish via PC on most all your details. As always...excellent work.

Wicked work! How do you like Valuguard (AutoInt) products? Steamer works well for leather! I've found the paint to be midly hardly to correct for light marring.

wow the denali came out great, those were some brutal swirls. I did a white Denali and i couldnt even dent it with my PC they have a hard CC but with a rotary things change a bit.

why not megs 21 on the black? what made u go with ocw?

Not collecting dust, but I am getting much better with the rotary. :D

Silvabimma, the products are excellent.

Two reasons--the customer was only willing to pay so much for the detail, so OCW allowed me to spend just a bit more time on the prep. Also, the owner takes the truck through the local swirl-o-matic weekly. No matter what I put on, it is going to be destroyed by their cleaning methods, so why bother with the more expensive sealant? I tried to explain the importance of washing/drying, but he would rather pay me a few times a year to fix it. I don't get it, but it's his money.

Wow no kidding I agree on not using 21 I mean dont get me wrong the truck still looks awesome with OCW but IMO 21 is a superior to ocw. That is dumb to spend money to get the truck perfect then ruin it within weeks when he washes it. Either way more money in your pocket but damn those trucks are big.

what a great turn around on the two vehicles both where hammered, also you did a fantastic job on the inner beemer wheels :2thumbs: ..
