.......im not going to pass english

i guess i should have assumed this but i didnt think it was this bad

so I walk into Schucks to pick up a clay bar. go to their detail section and see the mothers clay bar kit. I really wanted to mabee try something else, cause i didnt need a kit, and i wanted more than 80g's, so i hinted the guy over, BTW this was like a very smart looking 40 yo guy that i see there alot, he might even own the place. heres what went down:

him: "hey how can I help you"

me: "yea.. do you have any other clay bar kits, or mabee just the clay bars?"

him: "oh.. no Im sorry, but we (Schucks) can only carry mothers clay bar, we dont carry meguiar's or anything like that. Our others stores do (forgot what Schucks sister stores are).. but there in.. um.. california.."

me: "yea.. thats ok, so I guess Ill just get this *takes mothers clay kit*"

at this point Im thinken the guy knows what hes talking about, he was informative and helpful...

him: "oh wait, but this stuff is alot better *picks up a box of NXT liquid wax*"

me: "..no i actually just wanted the clay bar.. I already picked up some wax, actually its that wax i picked up, but all i need right now is a clay bar"

him: "*stares at me in confsion* but this is what the pros all use, its the best"

me: "*points* thats wax..... i just want a clay bar"

him: "but.. ok, i dont know that much about cars, I just have other people do it for me *he laughs, i dont* sorry i cant help you *walks away quickly"

That guy is a prime example of ignorance. IF you do not say anything about something that you do not know anything about you will never come across as ignorant.

Thanks for posting!! I get a charge out of these stories.

Confucius say . . .

It is better to have people think you are an idiot than to speak and remove all doubt.
