First off I know pictures do not do it justice. I'm just looking ideas on how to best tackle something like this. I know some of you pros have seen scratches like this. I would just like to know what is the best method to take care of it. I know that It might not be removed but it can be lessened.

This is right beside the drivers door. The second scratch from left barely catches my nail. This is a 2008 Athens Blue infiniti G37.

I was thinking about wetsanding with 2000,2500,sip,po85rd?

I would polish before I sanded.

The deeper scratch will not be removed by this method but it may substantial reduce the area of sanding required once you figure out which scratches needs more attention.

Looking at the last pic, those actually aren't too bad at all.

I will bet $20 that can be removed 95% with Menzerna PowerGloss Compound and an Orange cutting pad on Rotary at about 1400rpm.

If you want NO evidence that it was EVER there, then you will need to lightly sand with 2500grit sandpaper first, then do the above step.

And they'll be 100% gone :)

Good luck! Be careful!
