The Best One-Step Product

I was wondering what your opinions are for the best one-step product. I need to find something I can use for the customer that just wants a one step. I feel that in alot of cases a pure wax that i normally use for last step such as (16 ,s100, ex etc) would not give as good of finish on a car that hasnt been polished out and some people either dont care about that or dont want it. Its usually like "can you wax my car?" Im thinking something that polishes or hides swirls, slicks the finish and good gloss but also with decent duribility. Whats you opinons?

Thanks

Hi-Temp makes a couple good one-step polish/sealants. Paint Perfection Glaze, and for dark cars, Midnight Express. Both can be applied via orbital or rotary, and with different pad combos, depending on what defects need to be removed.

One step you have to have cleaner or hiding capabilities and protection, AIO would be my choice. If your not cleaning then you are leaving contamination on the paint.

There is no best one-step product. Think about it. Since all car finishes are going to be at different levels with regard to frequency of care, exposure to contamination, etc; how could any one step product be the answer to all of these situations.

When it comes to professional detailing, it's all about using the products necessary in order to deliver the professional results the customer expects.

Because you can use the same one step on brand new cars as you can on heavily oxidized car. Case in point, AIO and ColorX. Both work equally well one all types of finishes.

I like Gliptone ProBuff available in the NorthEast.

I had a chance to use the new Chemical Guys EXTREME ALL-IN-1 POLISH + SHINE & SEALANT on a badly oxidized late model truck and it performed very well.

My advice is to "go thin" when applying.

Tried to post a pic but it was to large and I am heading out for dinner.

Here is a write up I did on it posted on "the other" website w/photos.

Long Haul Polish/Wax or Liquid Lustre.

The absolute best one step product out there for a car that's swirled up that I've tried is Malco Rejuvenator. It's a strong polish, a little stronger than #83 and works well with a rotary and it leaves a wax coating. If the cart is in pretty good shape and needs less polishing and more wax I would go with Meg's NXT as it fills in minor swirls and is very easy on/off, specially with a PC buffer.

If I am just cleaning and waxing, I go with AIO, PWC, or Gliptone

ProBuff. If I have to do some polishing as well, I go with HT PPG,

or FK1 215.
