System One



Has anyone tried this product?



Did a search on it here and found zero, zilch, nada...

I dunno..... I didn't see or read anything revolutionary. Seems to me its a simple kit sold to body shops who color sand customer's cars.



I watched the video and it was all standard procedure stuff. Color sand panel w/2000 grit, buff with wool pad & rotary, buff again with foam polishing pad, finish with grey finishing pad, wipe down.



I think with the right mix of products and pads from 3M or Meguiars, anyone could do the same thing. I don't see the big deal about System One.
 
Interesting website. A little vague, but interesting. Altho I looked at the smallish list of retailers, I didn't see anything about pricing...



Altho they addressed the importance of paint thickness, the probability of compromising the clear was not addressed.



I'm leary of wetsanding in general, but I'd love to hear more. Let us know!

Just as I thought as well. Nothing earth shattering.



Sure, we all can get same results from 3M/Meguiars etc...



Wonder how well it works with your adverage foam pad? I'd bet same.



Oh well, one day I'll have to try it.
