Swil marks in Zaino

Sad little man

New member
Recently I did some work on swirl marks on my car, really layered up the Zaino, and was disappointed when I saw that just a short time after I was done with them, I started getting new light scratches in the direction I was polishing, even when I used clean rags. So on a hunch, I added another coat of Zaino, and the scratches seem to be gone. Could it be that the scratches were in the Zaino itself, and adding another coat of it both filled in, and in essence removed the scratches since the new coat bonded with the old, eliminating any scratches in it?

yup....your towels are actually marring zaino not your paint. Apply another coat and you should be good.....zaino fills and layers,....

Sad, little man, my initial instinct is just a simple "yup" like blkZ28Conv's.

You say "clean rags." Hmmm ... most of us would not talk about "rags." We go to great trouble and expense to use high-quality cloths for QD'ing, polishing, buffing, etc. Exactly what are you using? (If you say, "high-quality MFs from WalMart," then I'll have a leg-up on diagnosing your problem. :D )
