Super Sudzer

Saw this online and thought it was a good idea. Just pop in your favorite soap and get it pumped directly through the nozzle when your washing the car. Just need to find a place that sells it. Any thoughts on it or ideas where i can get it. Didnt see it at Pepboys

Seems like it would be more of a hassel then what it's worth. If you're going to be rinsing your wash mitt often isn't it easyer to just dip you mitt into your soap bucket? This may be good for people who wash their whole car without rinsing their mitt but i don't see a need for it.

More suds doesn't mean stronger cleaning power. Some shampoo's with very low suds do a better job than the high suds ones.

Bubbles don't clean! Dudsing ability is only the action of air agitating a sudsing agent added to the cleaning solution. I used a car wash solution that did not suds at all, did a fantastic job, but it was so weird using it.

That thing might be OK for a pre-soak. I use my shower-foam gun for that a LOT. But then I also like to spray the s-fg through the mitt for added lubrication and wash solution flow. Works great to limit wash-induced marring. Dunno how well the Super Sudzer would work for THAT application, but it might be worth a try.

Who makes the shower-foam gun?

Can't find my website link for it, but I got mine from CJMS- Carolina Janitorial & Maintenance Supply. Phone (919) 755-6290. The item# is 210-0000400, their product description is Shower Foam Gun #75QGFMR. It was $49.14 plus $5.90 shipping.

You might find the link (and a picture) if you search on "Shower*" or something similar. It was YoSteve who posted it, as I recall.

When I first got it, I thought it was just a "toy". I monkeyed around with it but didn't really think much of it. But these days I find myself using it more and more. Putting its nozzle INSIDE the wash mitt (or against the bristles of my BHB) seems to work very well for washing without marring the finish. Of course, you gotta be careful you don't hit the finish with the plastic end of the nozzle.

I'm not at ALL scientific/precise about the wash solution I mix up for it. I just add soap (Griot's Car Wash) and water until it "looks right" and then adjust the dilution setting on the gun so THAT "looks right" too.

It doesn't work miracles, but *I* like using it. I have it on a separate, dedicated hose, the one I USED to use with a siphon-feed (to pump wash solution through the hose into the mitt- I like the gun better). After I use IT (through the mitt), I rewash with a MF mitt. That way I've already removed the sort of contamination that can stick to the MF.
