So I though this stuff looked cool, nice bottle, nice label, I should have dug into the reviews some more but I figured if it's been on the shelf at Walmart for more than a year, it has to be pretty good.

Let down. Its not slick at all, in fact it doesn't feel like you put anything on the surface. Also its pretty grabby when used as a drying aid. Smells kinda like cherry so there is that. I was hoping for something along the lines of TW Ceramic Wet Wax at a better price point. TW is slicker and easier to apply. Overall just a hard pass for me.

I have the older blue bottle non ceramic rinseable spray sealant. I use it for wheels and it works fine for that.

Yeah this would probably be fine for wheel duty but I took it back. I have enough crap on my shelf that outperforms this by a good amount.

Thanks for this brutally honest review and your experience with this particular Sud's Lab car-care product. I am with you about trying an OTC new product, but I generally wait until someone else buys, tries, and reviews it before making the investment of doing so.
Also makes me wonder and question if this product is not that good, is the rest of their products like that. Probably a very bad judgement/assessment on my part by association without a true experience of any of those products by myself, but I think we can all agree it does have an influence on my decision to try a new OTC car-care product line. And like you, Dan, I have "accumulated" ( no offense, Accumulator!) many different products over the years, drawn in by the hype ("flavor of the month"... remember that phrase from way back in this forum?), only to be somewhat disappointed by it/them in our experience, and there they sit on the detailing product shelf, languishing and unused for many years. My regretful "flavor of the month" product purchase?: Presta Chroma 1500 Polish and Strata Ultra Cutting Cream Light, which I paid dearly for from a local distributor. (Yes, had to dig them out from behind the other languishing products on the detailing product shelf in the basement to get their manufacturer and name type correct!)
Works great with a rotary, but I do not have that polishing machine or their Presta pads. Works not-so-great with an older model Porter-Cable Dual-Action orbital and Lake County foam pads.
Used them on a late 1990's BMW 3-series convertible sedan. Looked great in the garage, but not in the sun, despite being waxed with S100 carnauba wax. Still have the pair, thinking SOMEDAY when I get a rotary...still waiting...

Presta is a pretty popular product line in the repaint body shop segment. Seems to produce good results with a rotary. I have a friend who seems to prefer it over some of the 3M body shop products.
