Stocked up on supplies today!

...Dreaming on an E92....
Ok, going to help detail a friends Grand Cherokee tomorrow, and I was in need of supplies, so I stocked up a bit today!

4 new MF Towels
Waffle Weave MF
Mothers Gold Series soap
2 new applicator sponges
Black Magic Tire/Trim Gel
Q-Tips :)
2 bottles invisible glass
New wool wash mit and a new wheeel brush
10 oz. bottle Klasse A-I-1 polish
Meguiars Scratch-X
Polishing Compounf
Clear/ plastic bins for everything!

And I took an old towel and cut it up for small interior rags

I'm in business for tomorrow! It cost me a pretty penny from this last weeks paycheck, but I'm set for a while!

Oh, and tomorrow's detail will include:
Wash
Clay
Wash
Meguiars Scratch-X
Maybe another coat, lol
Klasse A-I-1 polish, one coat

I'd like to add another couple coats of 3M Polish. Would this work putting it over the Klasse, or the other way around, or just one or the other?

Thanks guys!

Dolan

I'm not too familiar with the 3M polish line, but what, exactly, are you using for protection after all the polishing you plan on doing? The only thing I see is the Klasse AIO that will leave any kind of protection, and if that's the case, you need to use it as your last step.

Right on, Dolan!

How are you going to use Scratch X? I'm guessing just for a few small spots?

I can't wait to see the results!

Take care,
Jerry

Ah, my bad. It's actualy a cleaner wax, so I guess it wouldn't work over the Klass, right? So maybe a few coats of the 3M will do the trick.

Yea, we plan on using it on the few areas where there's some tougher scratches and theres a couple areas with very light marring. Hopefully it turns out great

After the Klasse AIO, you should be ready for about any last step product you might want to use. My choice happens to be 4 Star UPP, but any of the locally available non cleaner carnauba waxes would look great. Mother's, Meguiar's would be a couple. Stop by your Harley shop and get some S100 Carnauba. The S100 happens to be my choice for a straight wax. Great look and decent durability. Easy to use and doesn't stain trim!

Well, we didnt get to it yesterday, nor today :(

We went over to our shop and we washed it and were going to clay it inside, but we couldn't fit his car in far enough, so we had to call it quits. Maybe this weekend...
