Yuck...I despise this time of year. Had to put the winter wheels back on. But I decided since I had to make the truck look 'ugly' I might as well paint my old, beat up winter wheels and make them look a little better.
So I painted my old Boss wheels satin black. Nothing fancy...bought a few cans of Krylon® satin black, taped up the valve stems and went to work. All in all I think they turned out good and they look much better than the scratched up, pitted look before.
And for anyone who hasn't seen my truck, here's how she looks in the spring/summer months...
Hope ya like 'em. It gives the truck a bit of a different look for winter and with using Kryon I can touch 'em up on the fly if needed.
