I was wondering if there was any insight as to how worthwhile the points were? I mean I read 10 points per dollar and 100 points per order over 100--but I mean does it boil to 10 points = .10USD then?



Kind of curious cause in the middle of trying to decide where I want to order my products from
 
If 10 points = 10 cents, and you get 10 points for every dollar spent, then that's pretty much the same as the 10% forum discount that is pretty much standard, the only difference is with the discount you get it on the current order, with the points you have to wait until your NEXT order.
 
that's what I'm thinking. So Under that believe I'm thinking for the most part...maybe the order for me will be Amazon=>autopia => autogeek ? though I'm sure eventually autopia will have more or less evverything autogeek has...
 
Some of this is going to rest on the shipping, because sometimes that becomes a big factor. Gotta love some places, like ordering from DG direct with $5 flat rate, FK1 used to have that too.
 
hmmm true...i was actually thinking about that too... not sure about amazon shipping stuffs but i mean i figure for the most part, if I order stuffs, normally my orders would be over 100 bux so normally the additional shipping isn't all that much more...HOWEVER....if there was a "free shipping" thing...I wouldn't mind saving 15-20 bux....
 
I got the idea that this was kind of a "virtual" storefront, so your order might be shipping from several locations...which would kind of dash any hope for free, low, or flat-rate shipping.
 
Currently the store is giving standard UPS rates..No handling added.



In the next few days, our negotiated rates are going to kick in so the shipping is going to be even lower. The store is a virtual storefront, but the vendors are using our UPS number to ship, so they are getting our discounted rates.



The shipping goes off of actual weight as opposed to other stores that go off of dollar amounts.
 
=[ i ordered what I could from the site because I like the people here--but ordered the rest from autogeeks (had free shipping or 10% for using autopia) In the future, I expect to use this site more. Still kind of waiting to see what flex packages you'll get admin :)
