so i just found out about my mf towels...

i got my mf waffle towels from the autopia glide block and waffle set and someone washed them with clothes!!! is that alright? would they be linted now?



first time use it says to wash before using. someone actuall went and washed them with some clothes in my house and i used it too!! i didnt notice any damage but it felt like it wasant really doing a good job



what should i do now?

As long as there was no fabric softener used they should be OK. Someone else just had this happen you might want to do a search I will try to find the link. I would just wash them again by themselves this time.

I would just wash and dry them again and then maybe if you want try holding them in your hands and flicking your wrist real hard...that always works for me to get lint off towels. You could also try a lint remover (the sticker kind) or an air compressor.

IMHO way too much emphasis and worry is placed on washing MF with clothes. Fabric is fabric is fabric folks! There is no real "danger" exfept to the clothes! A dirty towel with polish and other chemicals washed with the clothes will more likely deposit the polish on your clothes. The only problem I have ever seen washing them together (other than the clothes getting stained) is the towels picking up a little lint or some loose threads. Don't worry so much about it, if they picked up some lint just wash them again.

If I don't have a full load on household MFs, but want to wash I throw them in with T-shirts or even bluejeans. I have done this for several years and neither the MFs or clothes are the worse for wear. Oh yeah, I have even accidentally washed a few with a load of towels in hot water Not a problem, picked off what little lint there was on the MFs and went on our way.
