Quick little write up
I had a customer scheduled to one step his Acura CL. I have worked on this car before and he isn't the most gentle with his paint, for some reason he loves the tunnel washes
Needless to say it wasn't in great shape after a year. In fact I think other than the tunnel washes the car hasn't been touched.
The Sun came up quick, I had to move briskly to make sure the soap didn't dry on the paint. I continusly spray it down to make sure it stayed wet. I washed with a 50/50 of CG wash and clear and Dawn. Wheels were taken care of with CG Diablo gel and a couple of ez-detail brushes.
After I washed I snapped some more pictures to see exactly what I was dealing with. The dirt was nice and his alot of the scratches and swirls
Worse than I expected, although I know I wasn't going for 100% correction I wanted to get at least 75-80% correction. I knew I needed an aggresive yet still a compund that would finish down nice enough not to have to go back over the paint again.
