i recently bought a whole set of everything from zaino and it works pretty good but i have nothing to compare it to. well i am running short and was wondering if i should buy another set of zaino or try something new. i currently have a silver lexus is300 which i am selling to get a black 05 bmw m3. that is what i will be using it on so i need a system for dark colors. my gf also has a graphite eclipse so i would use it on that. what do you guys think i should get? i am looking for a complete system and looking for the best shine and wet look. please let me know what i should get. i will also be applying it all with a pc 7424 and i want the BEST products. price is really not an issue, neither is time. thanks.

Zaino is a great product, but it never hurts to broaden your horizons. There's really no right or wrong answer to this question; it's all personal preference.

A big part of this hobby/passion is trying new products and techniques and learning.

Good luck :)

Zaino is still great stuff. On black, Z5 would look great. The nice wet look of carnauba is fantastic, but don't forget that it won't last as long as the Z stuff.

I tried Menzerna IP and FPII. Both are great for light to medium swirls and very light scratches. I used Menzerna FMJ on my wifes red Subie and it looks great. But beading wasn't great after only two weeks. Might be an option though.

Dan.

My Zaino was running out, so I decided to try Clearkote Vanilla Moose and Poorboys Nattys wax.....I like this combo better then my zaino!

Not if you are trying to find something better. If you are looking for something different I say go for it. Zaino is always improving so why not just try the lastest and greatest Zaino.

Wow, that's not biased what-so-ever.

I'll say, I can do my car about 6 times with 1 oz of Zaino. Definetly swayed towards Klasse. Never tried Klasse so I can't comment which is better but I have my suspicions. Wasn't there a link to buy Klasse at the bottom of that page. :nono

Klasse is good for when you don't want to do alot and want to get a lot. Two work-in's of AIO is the best single thing anyone can do to any car hands down, protection and shine included (and you don't have to fully dry the car) . Don't get me wrong, when you go nuts with the product it shines (pun not intended), lol.

There are a ton of stuff out there, why not try something else on another car if you're satisfied with Z on your current.

Yeah, more than a little. Even using my PC plus a red pad (and wasting some product), I can easily get two coats of Z5 or Z2 on my Audi A4 from one ounce. That brings the cost difference down to about 25%. Sounds like standard marketing disinformation.

Klasse may be a better product than Z2 or Z5. I don't know, because I've never used it.

However, given the obvious slant and the high quality of the page, it looks like professional marketing propaganda put out by the Klasse folks. To me, this indicates that the Klasse product is poor compared to Zaino products. If Klasse was a decent product they wouldn't need to stoop that low to sell their product.

I say if your satisfied with your results then stick with it but if your not try something else. I use the 1z line plus souveran and love it. What fun would this hobby be with out trying as much products as possible.

I'd go with any suggestions for black paint.

AIO, UPP looks best on my titanium silver metallic M3. Black might be different.

But for max durability go with zaino. z5 then z2 for black. UPP will probably stop beading in another month. I'll go all Zaino for the winter.

BTW, I've yet to see a black M3 without swirls. including brand new right off the truck.

I had to use a yellow CMA pad and Menzerna IP to permanently remove the swirls on my M3.
