I just bought a brand new 2008 Toyota Solara Sport (Gunmetal). This is my first brand new car. All the other cars I've had we're all used so this new ride for me has more value. I've done some basic detailing on the previous cars so I figure I step it up with this new one. Here's a list of my arsenal.



Chemical Guys Citrus Wash

Foam gun

Griots clay

3M- Tires/Wheels

303-Interior

Stoners-Windows

Megs. #26 and #80



After doing some research I came up with this and it compliments my budget for now.

Wow, there was still an 08 on the lot? Looks like you got a nice combo of products, I love #26.
 
Yeah I lucked out with the 08. Nobody wanted it. I traded in my 07 Tacoma for it.

I just read the reviews and went off what people said. I read that #26 and 80 go well together. Also I'm going by what my budget is. M105 is more expensive but if I we're to spend that much then I'd go with P21S.

Congrats on the new car, sounds like a nice find.



That sounds like a good combo, and the gunmetal metallic oughta be pretty easy to keep looking good.



Be a little careful choosing your wash media, the foamgun, in-and-of itself, doesn't work miracles when it comes to reducing wash-induced marring.

To clarify a bit,

M80 is a primarily a polish, secondly a glaze. M105/205 are both polishes. M26 is a wax.
