QS and FD Question!

Personally, I generally wash my vehicles prior to adding additional protectant ( sealant or wax). This step will remove any QD, including QS and FD, that was present on the finish. The only exception would be when my Z28 is inhiberation and I just dust off (Cali duster) and QD with Z6 and apply additional coat(s). None of my EX or carnauba ( Souveran and P21S) vehicles are hiberated ( daily drivers) so a wash is alway the first step. :wavey

I'd have to agree with the first reply, I've tried applying S100 to my FD'ed garage queen and it streaked badly. I'd suggest a good wash before carnauba application. I have noted that polymer waxes such as Gold Class didn't streak but was difficult to apply.

S100 won't streak over Quikshine.

If I am going to layer S100 on my car, I do it 24 hours apart. Since my car sits outside all day, I use my California Duster then Quikshine to make sure it is clean. No problems using S100 over it.
