I know this gets asked alot and ive done searches etc, just havnt found exactly what im looking for.

My favorite QD to date is zaino Z-6, its rather expensive but works great. Im curently using tropi-care Tc-5 great results but like the Z-6 better it makes the paint feel slicker and also is much slicker going on the paint.

Does any have any experience with the z-6 but found somthing that works as good but can be bought for a lesser price and also bought in gallon size.

Thanks for the help, any input is appreciated.

Does anyone use the Pinnacle Crystal Mist Spray Wax, and if so what are your thoughts? I am thinking of applying if on top of Souveran

I personally haven't used the Crystal Mist, but have read that it looks great over Souveran.

I use Meguiar's Last Touch for all carnauba LSP's. For sealants, I'm pretty much a "by-the-system" user...Z-6 for Zaino, Instant Detail Spray for WG, S&G for EX-P, etc. This is not a hard set rule...I've just always bought the corresponding QD to try out when I've bought a sealant. However due to great reviews, Finish Kare's 425 has got me interested in terms of a "go-to" QD.

I've never been enamored with ONR as a QD - although I really like using it as a rinseless wash - For a QD, it cleans well but it does not leave the surface as slick nor with the "QD-shine" that I'm use to. I will say that it is by far the most economical QD out there.

I've tried the old version of Pinnacle Crystal Mist (before it was termed a "spray wax") and it is a great product - very nice finish and slickness that goes hand in hand with Souveran. But it's very expensive to use when compared to other QD/SW products (~$80 a gallon:faint: )

I like Crystal Mist, but primarily reserve it for use with Souveran just because it's so pricey. I also think of it more as a booster for maintenance between waxings rather than a QD. I would never use it, for example, to clean bird droppings or as a general spot cleaner. That's what SW, QS, 425 and the like are for.

I use 425, Arexons Speed Polish, ONR (for dusting & cleaning), Victoria Wax QD, Mothers Showtime, but I use the more substantial products as OCW, Z8 and FX-100 for quick touchups too.

I use Sonus Acrylic Spritz with the Klasse twins/Werkstatt twins.

- Duragloss 921 Fast Clean and Shine with Duragloss; and

- Eagle One Wipe and Shine for general, all around use.

Well, like most PB users, I've been hooked on S&W since my first bottle. I also have a bottle of ONR mixed, but it gets duty mainly as a clay lube or for wheels, as I still reach for the S&W 9 out of 10 times. I also use S&G as a gloss booster occasionally.

I think what you'll find and what this thread already demonstrates is that there are lots of good QDs out there and a few excellent ones.

However, there is no single QD that is right for every person and/or every situation.

Griot's Speed Shine, Adam's Detail Spray, Clearkote Quik Shine, Sonus Acrylic Spritz, and Poorboy's Spray & Wipe are the ones I find myself using more than any other, and I have tried plenty.

I do like Z6 over Zaino, but as much QD as I go through, it's not too economical. I have found NXT Speed Detailer works okay over Zaino.

I checked out the FK1 425 on thier website. If it does what most claim it can do then that should be a very good choice IMO $27 for a gallon. The QD im using now is the Tropi-Care Tc-5 and it was 40 for a gallon and im not over impressed with it to say the least.
