Hey everybody. New to the site and totally pleased about finding it. I've taken a month off of work to start up a mobile business and trying to find the best products avaliable. Now to this point I was trying out Driwash (since I'm going to have to contain my water) and after reading what you folks have to say about, I'm looking for something better. I also caught up with that thread about AcrylcWwerks stuff, and I myself not believing in the fact tha there is a "all in one" solution, found it quite amusing. :D . Which brings me to QEW. Are any of their other products worth trying?

What products would you recommend? And could someone please shead some light on all the ?ancronums? you fellows are using? Stuff like QD=quick detailer, QEW=quickandeasywash, etc. That would be a big help to the newbies around here.

Man this is great! What a great forum with all the leading edge detailers in the business. I love a clean car and hope you guys will welcome my questions from time to time.

Now, what products should I use?

Thanks so much. Type at ya soon.

Derek

Welcome to the forum LangMan37. I am not a professional detailer but I occasionally use QEW. It works very well. Some of the professional detailers on this site use it as well. You can wash a car with a gallon of water and an ounce of product. Do a search and you will find a ton of information. Good luck.

Yep I've read the comments. The funny thing is is QEW sounds like one of those "allinone" kinda deals from their description. I know alot of you guys like it and I'm probably going to try it. Thanks.

The 'Learn' and 'Search' will become your best friends, if you can't find the answer after using them , ask I'm sure you'll get the help/answer you need

Alway's looking for ways to improve the Biz, I'm a mobile Detailer. Willing to share my ideas with you all. Don't want anything, but the same from you. Best tire dressings (with

no sling) etc, waxes, tools to help reach the next level!

Thanks Alot

So back to the original topic...... from a few years ago

Protect All is a nice line of products. Underrated.... yes. Without QEW you probably would never have heard of Protect All. I have talked to Dan from Protect All and he is very knowledgable about the products / detailing. The products that I used from them are part of their RV line ie- Rubber roof cleaner, black streak remover, etc. The "Protect All Polish, Wax & Treatment" can now be found at Wal Mart in the RV section as well. It is a decent product on the paint but works wonders on Fiberglass. Protect all doesn't offer your traditional compounds, polishes, paint cleaners, sealants that you'd need for car detailing.... but if you are looking to detail boats and RVs then you should definitely try their products.

Hope this helped.

wow, my first post: nervous2: Like three years ago. It's amazing to me what I know now as opposed to then. I owe it to all the folks who post here daily. Nothing beats hands on experience but, damn, talk about home schooling. It's right here, on Autopia. Great site with even greater members>:hifive:

I salute you all!!:bigups

Thanks for being there.

Derek: :thx
