My only experience with thicker pads has been terrible when applying with the PC. It slows the spinning WAY down unless you are almost picking up on the machine. Under its own weight, the PC slows to a crawl after the pad becomes saturated. It seems to take more product, as well.

I would stick with the thin pads. I'd rather buy pads twice as often with the amount of money I'm saving in time and product. My .02 cents.

YA, but... AG also sells the 5.5 low profile pads. I bought some from CMA since I feel that the LC white 1 1/4 pad is a bit thick and heavy.

I have to agree with this 100%, as this has been my exact experience with the 1.25" pads from AG.

By the way, I notice that AG is blowing out the orange 5.5 low profile pads: 6 of them for only $14.99, less their current 15% off coupon, and you are only paying a tad over $2 each!

The much respected 5-in CCS pads from Danase are 7/8-inch. If you are selling pads that are more expensive than others you obviously have to up sell the difference. Thicker must be better...:)
