this winter i am have some areas of my truck repainted and was wondering what products i can use on it? my painter says to wait 90 days before waxing. the problem is that i show my truck pretty much once a week. what detail sprays can i use? i know final inspection is safe. also can i use meguiars #7 show car glaze on it without waxing on top of it?

thanks for any info

Part of the answer depends on the quality of the re-paint. Some repaints should really be wetsanded and buffed back. Others look fantastic. Make sure your body person prepares the surface well, and knows there is lots of wax on there.
At the auto supply store there will be some "body shop safe" products in retail and professional lines. I personally avoid putting a sealant or natural wax on a newly painted surface for a month or so. I'm in the camp to wait that long, but there may be some body shop safe polishes that can get a nice shine, but without the depth of waxes and the gloss of sealants.
