Problems with OCD Garage

On Monday March 12, 2007 I placed an order for 2 Microfiber Wash Mitts. I had expected to have the order delivered by Monday March 19 at the latest. I didn’t think much about not getting a shipping confirmation as it has happened from other companies before and the product still arrived within a week. When the 19th came around I started to inquire where my package was. I called OCD on the 19th and left a message expecting them to stand by what their automated system said that they’d call back ASAP. On Tuesday I called at least 3 times and then multiple times on Wednesday as well. They never attempted to call or email me with information to let me know what was taking so long for the package to be shipped delivered. The mitts finally arrived on Thursday the 22nd after they shipped on Tuesday the 20th. I’m not too pleased with the kind of service I received from them. I see no reason why it would take a week for them to ship two mitts. Needless to say, I won’t be buying from them again anytime soon.
 
Wow that sounds sad Ryan. No excuse that they couldn't have called you or emailed. That is just poor customer service. I know I won't be seeking them out to buy any supplies. I shudder to think how long it would take to get an order to Canada. Do you think that they forgot about your order and shipped it after you called?
 
Had this exact same problem with ocd garagae earlier this year. Took 9 days for them to ship, no reply to numerous emails.
 
Wow, this is good to know...deleting them from my "shoppers list." Even though I have never ordered from them, I wont be doing so now :)
 
he's been a big headache for members over at m3forum.com, there is a long thread about isuues with OCDgarage.
 
There are plenty of other great vendors out there, like PakShak, Excel Detail and Autogeek...I've ordered from PakShak twice, excel twice, and autogeek once, always prompt delivery and customer service.



Oh yeah, and JeffsWerkstatt is also a pleasure to deal with.

I bet when he does get more stock, the price will go up.



It has been like that since almost xmas when I was looking for that polisher.

I knew I had read about issues with these guys. they have a SLICK deal on the Metabo so I ordered one a week ago. I got the order confirmation and nothing else. I e-mailed them to add something to the order - no response. I then e-mailed to ask when the metabo might ship - nothing. I suppose tomorrow I will try calling. It is a lot of work to get my stuff.



Can anyone confirm that they are still in business?
 
Have you noticed that their "click here for live help" section is NEVER available. I deleted them from my favorites long ago and suggest you do the same.
 
I called their phone numbers and played with their phone tree in addition to leaving a message with Customer Service. I am thinking they are dead in the water. I now need to figure out how to cancel this order so I don't end up with two of them if they decide to come back to life.
