Dark Colors.......................Light colors.....Metallics

ssr 2.5...............................ssr 2.5...........ssr 2.5

ssr 1..................................ssr 1..............ssr 1

red moose machine glaze.....????.............Ex p sealant

carnuba moose wax.............?????

Also, what products do i use on the light colors for the final products? I have yellow, orange, white and blue pads.

General rule for speeds:

Polishes and compounds: spread at 3, work at 5-6 until dry. Start with the least aggressive combo and work your way up until correction is achieved

Glazes, sealants and waxes: spread at 3 and do not work them in, since those do not have any kind of cleaners or abrasives, just make sure to spread evenly

Speaking of porter cable speeds, I just used mine for the first time and I put it on 3 to spread and then 6 to cut since my wife's '98 mustang was in pretty bad shape. Is it normal for the Porter Cable to vibrate like a bat out of hell on 5-6? The vibration was so bad that my right hand holding the bar grip has soar muscles like I just worked them out.

yup...the vibrations are fairly significant. it's worse if the pads are not perfectly centered (speed 6 especially). the first time i used my PC, my hands were numb/tingling for quite a while after. you get used to it after a few uses.

ttt........ for light colors what do i use for the final coats? the sealant by itself? the wax by itself? the glaze then the wax?
