Porsche Macan in Dolomite Silver - water beading pic

As soon as I bought my Macan, I gave it a full detail. The process for painted areas was as follows:

Wash - Ammo Foam Soap
Decon - Griot's Garage iron remover and clay mitt to remove bonded contaminants
Polish - Ammo Exfoliate via Griot's Garage G9 random orbital and yellow Rupes foam pad (the paint was in fantastic shape aside from some deeper scratches under the hatch lid so it did not need much correction)
Prep - Griot's Garage Surface Prep spray
Protect - Polish Angel Cosmic V2 coating (two coats)

I caught this water beading shot after work a few days after this process was complete and thought it was pretty cool.

Love the water beading....
Will have to do some research on your coating...
Tks for all the work you did to take and post up the pic.

The Mecan looks great TGates:
What made you choose the Polish Angel Cosmic V2 coating?
Is the small water beading from fog/mist or rain?
(You post pics, Captain Obvious will ask questions!)

Thanks! I chose this particular coating because I'm just not enamored with the more traditional ceramic coatings I've used. They're fine, but I'm a tinkerer and we all know ceramic coatings aren't great for that. I also don't drive the car much, so I didn't need the highest level of durability. I have been impressed with just about every Polish Angel product I've used up to this point and I had this in the cabinet, so I thought I'd give it a try. My weekly washes with Si02 rinseless solutions and spray toppers should keep it nice and healthy. As for the shot, it was a light rain. Not enough to even keep the ground wet for very long, but enough to make the car wet obviously.
