Good Afternoon gents :waxing: ,

Day 1: 7:30 PM - 8:45 PM

Day 2: 8:00 AM - 2:45 PM

Customer, a member of autopia, dropped the SUV off Friday night. I gave it a quick foam and wash under the halogens while the sun was setting and finished the car the next morning. I have no before pictures but, the owner says he hasn't touched it since he's owned the car. Overall the paint was in good condition pertaining to swirling, but marring and contaminants were high.

This is where I stepped my game up. I wasn't happy with the way the jambs looked on the rear hatch. They were filled up with a thick black stuck on material. I took a special solution and small detailing brush and cleaned the areas and hinges There was some remnants from this sitting for years, which was expected. Doing this took and extra hour but the customer was impressed :woot:.

Nice turn around, Silvers are tough for a wow factor.

I have to say with your pictures though...Back up a little bit. You are so close the pictures come out, out of focus and you really have to look to see what you are looking at. Back up a little and give us the whole picture.

Thanks, I wish I had some before pictures and some when the sun came out...it was impressive! I need a new camera all together, this one is getting a little outdated :LOLOL.

Those jambs are a work of art!

What's ETD?

Thanks a lot! ETD is Exterior Trim Detailer, it's great stuff and doesn't smudge or smear like armorall. It has a nice matte finish.
