Hi there,

After buying some Zaino products last month I have treated both my cars (a 2001 Ford Mondeo and a 2000 Peugeot 206 GTi) with the stuf. I have to say its better than everything I tried before. Just take a look...

Nah... we never see those nice cars in the US except on TV (WRC) :(

However the previous-generation Mondeo <em class='bbc'>was[/i] imported to the US a few years ago as the "Contour," but it stopped when the Focus came out.

Oh, and what a nice shine you got! :down

The cars look great!!:up

We do get all the British car magazines here like Car, Top Gear, Autocar, Evo, and lots of others.

Just a slight correction to BW's post - the Ford Contour and Mercury Mystique were both produced in Detroit. And they were the US versions of the Mondeo. Of course when Ford finally got around to making changes to the Mondeo they stopped building the Contour/Mystique in the US. So us yanks never get the good versions. Ford has now positioned the Focus on the low end and the Taurus on the high end to take the place of the Contour/Mystique.

Maybe with the return of Alfa Romeo in 2004, Peugeot, Citroen, and Renault will consider coming back to the states. I know that I'd buy an Avantime the minute one would come available.

Here are some more pictures of the Mondeo. This was when it was about a week old and I had not heard of Zaino...

Its a nice car to drive, but it has a serious shortage of power....

Hello Blue206GTI,

Nice looking car. What color is the car? Blue? I also used Zaino and have to say that, it is thus far the best detailing product I have used on my 2000 Silver Honda CR-V. How many coats of Z2 and Z5 do you have on the GTi? Oh, I really like the headlights on your GTi. Keep up the good work.

:)

The color of the 206 would be discribed best as light grey/blue metallic. Peugeot cals it 'Gris Iceland'. Its a real nice colour, not too flashy :D

It has 1 layer of Z5 and 3 layers of Z2 on it.

Thanks for the correction! :)

the rear of the mondeo looks very similiar to the new mercedes c-class.

BW, I used some Turtle Wax tire gloss on the tires. Not realy a good product, its kind greasy . I stil have to look for an other product. Unfortunately it is very difficult to find some good product here in Holland. I read a lot about Klasse, Mothers, Pinnacle and a lot of other product that are not available here.

I have to get my Zaino from Germany...
