Peanut Butter for removing Tar??!?!

Did anyone else catch this on Overhaulin? I DVR'ed Overhaulin the other night because I was watching something else and today I was watching it and right before it went to commercial, they did a little "How to" on removing tar from your car. They used peanut butter to remove tar from a car with a soft cloth. I thought this was unusual...did anyone else see this or know if it really does work?

I assume it would work like an abrasive polish to remove tar.

Well it will take old wax off of grainy trim so it might cut tar...
