PC Plates and Pads

Hi



Just wondering if Meguiars 6.5 pads can be used on the Sonus DAS Flex Plate



Also would the DAS green pad be classified as a mild cutting pad, only asking because I was hoping to apply Megs Paint cleaner with it.

I assume your referring to the 6" plate? if so absolutely, just be cautious until your certainly comfortable with the machine.

Its my belief the green pad would be classified as a light polishing pad..........Paint cleaner (any for that matter) would be fine, and actually a preferred pad. You could also step down to a blue pad for even less abrasiveness if your just seeking cleaning properties...

Thanks for the help, good to clear that up. Ill be using the blue pad to apply carnuba wax and a megs pad to apply the nxt tech wax.



As I am a newbie I want to take it easy with the paint before getting into the harsher compounds. Ill seee how I get on with the OTC stuff and then work my way up.
