PC pads on a Rotary?

I've never found a rotary pad that I've felt comfortable with, but yesterday I tried sticking a 6" yellow LC pad on my 5" Rotary backingplate, and sure enough, it was the most comfortable thing I've ever used!

However, using that and OHC, I had quite a bit of holograms, of which required OHC and the PC to remove (PC and OP wouldn't remove them!)

Would a White LC pad on the Rotary be as good as I'm thinking it would?

I'm excited that I might not have to invest in a seperate line of pads!

I've been practicing with my rotary on a spare junkyard hood that I took from the body shop I worked at as a kid..

One thing I've noticed is everytime I use a cutting pad it will leave *some* holograms They are not terrible holograms but if you bob and weave you can just barely see them, Maybe with the absolutete perfect technique it won't leave any holograms?. So what I do is follow up with a good polish on a polishing pad to clean up up the holograms.. I've been using #80 Speed Glaze/Yellow Meguiars Pad/1200 RPMS on the rotary and it has left the surface ready to be waxed... I know it is removing the defects because I've been cleaning the hood with NXT Glass Cleaner Followed by Stoners IG then 50/50 wipe and I can't see any holograms or anything of the sort. The hood has turned out Pretty well.. I'll post up some pictures. Wish I took pictures along the way.
