PC 7336 speeds not working

well i just purchased a "slighty used" 7336 PC. And i'm pretty sure the seller didn't rip me off intentionally because he is a pretty respected owner of a detailing company and a nice guy. Anyways... when in speed 1, 2, 3, and 4 it stays at the same speed. When in 5 it stops spinning completely and in 6 it kicks in to very high speed.

My question, has anyone had this problem? Or has anyone taken their PC to a service center to get fixed? I'm wondering how big of a fix this is.

I'm pretty bummed out, because i spent $165 total from the vendor including pads and products, and they are worthless without a properly working polisher. but nothing against him or his company, i should have payed for a new one with the warranty.

Its normal
Hope you're joking :) That is completely not normal. There should be a noticeable and steadily increasing speed as you turn the knob from 1 towards 6. I'm not sure what's wrong, I guess something with the knob area, but I don't know the details. Sorry to hear you got a bad PC.

The speeds between speeds 1-4 isn't that noticable and thats what I thought nizzan meant. As for #5 not working ... got me, my first though was that he was using the machine and pressing too hard or using on an angle that the pad stopped spinning. I find there is a little speed increase with speed 5 and a huge jump to 6.

Now if speed 5 doesn't work when the pad isn't touching anything, there is a bigger problem...
