P21S shelf life (or: does wax expire?)

hi there,



i have a jar of P21S wax which i bought in 2005. i have used probably about half of it since that time. my question is this... does P21S wax expire? does it become less effective after some time?

you should be fine if it hasn't frozen/melted and become watery. this is the reason why i like having paste, it doesn't go bad as fast as the liquid...
 
Yeah, I have paste waxes that're *old* and they still work fine. Heh heh, I still use my Zymol (relabeled by BHMA) Interior Wood Wax on the Jag, and it's over 20 years old. It takes me a good ten years to go through a can of #16 too..seems like almost *all* of my paste waxes are many years old!



Just keep the lids on tight and avoid temperature extremes (and ~90F isn't IMO "extreme").
 
None of my stuff is extremely old, I dont think you'll have an issue as long as the caps/lids are on tight.

I have a refrigerator in my garage. My wife thinks it's there to be a convenient place to store cold soda, but it's real purpose is to keep all of my nuba based detailing products cold.

Heh heh, well at least you and I still think of me as a young man..most guys I know who think that are in their 80s :lol



For that matter, I still have the can of Pro paste wax I was using in the late '70s! Just enough left in it for the smell to do the time-machine thing :D

Ya know, I think that Zymol Interior Wood Wax is the *only* Zymol product I've ever actually used :think:
