P21S and S100..same or different???

As far as I'm concerned, yes, they are. Some will say that they are different, but let me tell you, if they are different, I can't tell.

Could someone please tell me the deal with P21S and S100? Is S100 the same thing at half the price?

thanks

I have heard that they are pretty much the same thing, but I would think that there would have to be some differences seeing how P21S is double the price? I am curious to know also.

I have used S100 quite a few times and still have a jar that is a little more than half used. I think its a good wax that is extremely easy to use and initial slickness and gloss are exceptional, but after trying out the Collinite 845 for the first time the other day and washing my truck earlier tonight, I think that the 845 is definitely going to hold up much better than S100 through repeated washes. The slickness after the first wash following application was also pretty much the same as when it was first applied. The slickness of the S100 falls off noticeably imo.

Overall look of the 845 is right on par, or maybe even better than S100. And since they are virtually identical in price, I probably won't be purchasing S100 anymore.

They look the same to me. I would really like info. on it though.

p21s is marketed towards the car perspective.

S100 is marketed towards the motorcycle perspective. :LOLOL

I remember this being brought up in a previous thread and someone had mentioned that P21S and S100 used to be the same thing, but they had recently changed the chemical make-up of P21S. It all depends on if you have an old or new jar...

Now, this is my late night recall of a thread I think I saw, so I make no promises.

1 million threads later .......................If there is any difference I would be believe you really can't see it. 4 years ago after harassing them for about a week they admited to me in an e mail that they are the same. Fast foward years later they claim thet is a difference in the % of carnuba between P21 and S100

Brooks Imports told me that S100 has more flex agents in the formula but I cannot see any difference in recent applications.

What's a *flex agent*?

Aren't they both made from carnauba and beeswax? Aren't natural waxes naturally flexible? Sounds like double talk to me. ;)
