if you were thrown into another detailers garage, a "typical" detailer or non-autopian if you will.. do you think you could make due and put out your usual quality finish?
would you even make an attempt?
i am going to be doing a few cars in the coming week/s for a guy who has quite the inventory built up but i dont recognize any of his products really (all bulk, labelled vaugely if at all) and he wont be around to fill me in.
i am going to have to get a move on my orbital training and start ordering some pads/product i am familiar with i guess..
in the meantime i suppose i'll stick to cars that are in decent shape already and just clay/top them for effect (and to stall till i can get my own inventory built up)
kinda makes me feel like a cheap magician though having to rely on my own props etc..
are you only as good as your product? any thoughts/suggestions?
