After exhausting research on this forum, this is what I have planned for this Friday.

1. Wash
2. Dry
3.Clay with Meguiar's kit
4.wash n dry
5. Klass high gloss sealant

this is for a Alpine White 2004 BmW 325ci:)

Do you have AIO? Its really useful for Sealant Glaze. Make sure to research on how to apply it right :)

It might be beneficial to use a cleaner/polish before the Klasse SG.
Klasse AIO would make a great base for the Klasse SG.

AIO for 30? PAC has it for a nicer price thats for sure! Pretty high. Its a must for every detailer

Well, I don't have time to order online. Need the car ready for this Saturday. This car store has Klass AIO and sealant.
Should I just wait and get NXT instead then order the good stuff online?
My car is white.

Just my opinion, (I have never used SG), I would think it will need to have a clean finsh to bond properly. If you pass on the cleaner/polish step, you will probably compromise the SG results and you will have wasted your time and some of your money.
There might be a couple of alternatives, but I'm not sure what the results would be.
1. 4 Star Ultimate Paint Cleaner. If it cleans the paint for UPP, it seems like it should clean the paint for SG. About $10, but you will have shipping costs.
4. S100 Shine Enhancing Cleanser. Probably about $10 at your local Harley shop. Excellent product, but I don't really know how it would work with SG. My guess is that it would be fine.

The AIO would be my personal choice, but...it is going to cost you about $25 for even the 10 oz. bottle if you include shipping.
FWIW, 10 oz. will do quite a few cars. The stuff goes a long way.

The NXT is not a bad product at all. It may not be as popular as some of the higher end products, but it does do a pretty good job.
Use the NXT this Saturday, then sell the remainder of the NXT to someone. Then you can order the Klasse AIO on line without getting ripped.

In fairness to your local store, if $30 buys the 16.9 oz. bottle, he isn't going to be much higher than buying it online if you figure in the shipping.

It's actually $16.95 bucks for a bottle.

If that's the price for the AIO, grab it!!!
If that's the price for the NXT, leave the store, go to most any retail outlet and buy it for $14.95.
Retail outlets in my area would include Target, Wal*Mart, Auto Zone, Advance Auto Parts, in other words, most any place that sells wax.

No wait:wait , it's $16.95 for the Klass Sealant.

Ok now, I'm really confused.

Should I even clay the car that's only 4 weeks old?
Do I need to polish it before applying Klass Sealant?

Many people would say to clay the car. I don't happen to be a big fan of clay so I probably wouldn't.
The polishing/cleaning step before the SG is something I would definitely do.
Just relax, get all your figures together and don't make any rash decisions until you have your thought straightened out.
Right now, I just blew your well thought out plan to pieces and you just need some time to regroup.
You still have a couple of days to get what you need before Saturday.
Actually, for right now, you might be better off to just go the NXT route. Like I said, it is not a bad product at all.

Yeah you sure did!:lmfao
I'm so freaking confused, I mean my car is only 4 weeks old. Will clay do any difference? Hum... maybe I'll just do NXT then. But I want that nice glow and shine:jump

If you can purchase both Klasse AIO and SG locally, I'd think about purchasing just the AIO for now. You can use it as a one-step cleaner and protectant. When you can afford to purchase a few more products, you can pick up the SG and add it on top of a new layer of AIO.

Okay time to help a fellow BMWer! Lets start with the basic WHY for these suggestions:

Why should you clay? First claying removes any embedded dirt or contamination. In this case, detailers recommend it because your clearcoat is very new and soft. Rail dust from transportation can easily penetrate or pierce your layer. Also you never know what other foreign substances can get in the air during the shipping phase. Still not convinced? Go out to your car, make sure its clean, with a plastic bag and feel the paint with the plastic. Does it feel smooth? Very rough? If rough, you have contamination and you should clay it. Claying also makes the surface straight and smooth. Its the best result for a smooth surface.

NXT Wax in my opinion is a very good wax for retail sale, however I don't understand why Meguiar's only has that wax in their main arsenal. (#16 maybe, but mainstream? I think not). If you want smooth easy and a deep look, tryout this wax. It smells good for the tropical scent.

AIO / SG is by far the most classic combo you can find. All In One cleans and preps the surface. It can be used for all types of purposes and it leaves a very good acrylic layer for Sealant Glaze. Sealant Glaze is a sealant that, once layered/applied correctly, can rival many sealants, even Zaino! I would say the look is deep and rich.

In my opinion, go with NXT, see if you like it or not. It will be clean but the durability will not at all beat Sealant Glaze. If you really want the right stuff, AIO / SG. The Klasse combo is harder to use. Don't expect Black Paint results, as white is sort of a pain. I hope you don't need a polish job, as that is tremendously important.

Hope I could help!
Happy Detailing
