OCP vs. 3M vs. MPP

Hi,

I have some spider webbing in my car that I've been attempting to remove with 3M Finesse-it II Finish Material 05928. I've been able to get out about 50-60% of the marks with the 3M polish, using it about 2-3 times on each panel, so I am looking for a more agressive polish. I was wondering if Mothers Power Polish or Optimum Car Polish would be more agressive than the 3M (which says it will remove 1500grit wetsanding marks). Right now I don't have a PC so I have been using a cheap orbital and some sort of cotton/terry material bonnet. Since both of these products' agressiveness depends on the pad, I don't really know if they would be more agressive than the 3M with these bonnets. TIA.

The polishes you have mentioned, are along the same lines of abrasiveness as the 05928. I wouldn't really worry about the polishes that you are using, as either of the ones you've mentioned will remove almost any kind of spider webbing just fine. Using a cotton bonnet with a polish scares the crap out of me, I would definately recommend investing in the PC and some nice foam finishing pads. The cheap orbitals that I'm thinking of ( the ones sold by sears, lowes, or HD) don't have the speed, nor the proper pad to properly polish, they put more swirls into paint then they take out.
