New car

I will be picking up my new silver grey car in the next few weeks. Today I purchased S100 cleanser and wax. I was wondering if this would be good idea. I will use the S100 cleanser then AIO followed by multiple coats of SG and then S100 wax. Is this too much for a new car? I found the post for the instuctions for Klasse which was very informative. I remember reading this question before but could not find the post. Can I put SG on top of S100 wax and then wax again or do I have to put another layer of wax without SG? I will assume if you cannot layer SG on S100 then the process must be done all over again.

Thanks

Ummm, hmmm. I don't quite understand your last question, but no, you should not put SG over S100. It's best to use SG right after AIO seeing as how it cleanses the paint and kind of sets it up for SG. After you're done with all the coats of SG you are going to do, then you should top with S100. Hope that helps, Good Luck!

Since your car is brand new I think you should skip the S100 cleanser. As said, be sure you're happy with the number of SG coats you have done before proceeding to S100 wax.

PS: You may need to clay the car first - even if it is brand new.

bimmer330- As 4DSC said, clay the car. You need to remove any ferrous contaminants so they don't turn into "rust spot blooms" later. I myself use AutoInt's ABC too.

If the dealer preps it, be on the lookout for swirls (probably hidden with fillers). Some dealers are great about new car prep, but those dealers are VERY few and far between. After the wash and clay, you should be able to see any swirls. Remove them BEFORE starting with the AIO/SG/S100.
