Any experience on Mothers Reflections Top Coat?i just applied it and it is look really wet and gives a real deep shine.I also applied above it UPGP.Is that OK or i it was stupid?

Mothers makes some pretty good products. Top coat is fairly durable. If you like the look then nothing stupid about using it.

If it added to the look (never tried my Reflection over UPGP) then it was definitely worth it. Mothers makes some of the best products. They look thick, clear, friendly. The Reflections line is truly killer IMO.

Imagine that, Bence, I could not agree with you more on this. Mothers Reflection line is a good product line and does not get the respect that it deserves.

aren't these OTC? thought I saw this at pepboys yesterday. like to try them out

Yes, they are OTC products. Try them and I am sure that you be surprised as well as happy.

Reflections synthetic wax rocks!! Of everything I have ever used it is the only synthetic that truely looks like nuba.

Agreed fellas, I too use FX Synwax, Powerpolish, their clay, and the relfections wax. All great stuff!

Of note, my local Wal-Mart has the liquid FX Synwax everyday for $8.50. Amazingly cheap compared to vendors wanting $13.

Mothers use to make a sealant that was in a metal container that was great. I forgot the name of it. This was like 15 years ago or more.

Anyone remember that?

I found that Murray's have Reflections Spray Wax and Top Coat on clearance. I wonder if there is a new product coming out or if Murray's is going to stop carry the line.

What exactly is the purpose of the Top Coat? If I already have a sealant topped with a carnauba, will topping with Top Coat be of any help? I'm curious. Mother's is OTC and I haven't tried any of their products yet except for the FX tire shine and the Showtime QD which I really like.

Is this like the icing on the cake?

Reflections is a marketed as two part system but each can be used separately.

Reflections Wax is a synthetic cleaner wax. It can be used alone. Reflections Top Coat is a carnauba/synthetic blend without cleaners intended to add depth, warmth, and durability over Reflections. Some top Mothers FX Synwax with Top Coat for siimilar effect. I found Top Coat lightens darker paints slightly. Top Coat can be used as a LSP over any base sealant.

Reflections and FX lines are sensational. Great look and easiest to use, bar none. Very under-rated.

Reflections line for class, depth.

FX line for bling. ;)

I agree with everyone except for the one naysayer in this thread. For my personal vehicle as I've said before Reflections is my go to sealant. I do use Top Coat and have touched it up with the Spray Sealant after a while (it's not really sprayable it's so thick). The tire dressing is amazing, nice dark black look and not too glossy. The leather care is top notch and I've tried quite a few cleaners and dressing. Dries nicely and not tacky to the touch.

The whole line is underrated and doesn't get the respect it deserves. I don't know if the marketing types don't know how to position it but anytime I have talked to Mothers at SEMA they just seem to have a meh attitude. I have yet to try the Power Polish this year but have read good things about it. The FX line is excellent too and if you like the bling it's the product line to use. :) If you can get the products at Murrays for a decent price I'd hurry down and get some. I could only get the Reflections wax at Pep Boys, the rest had to be ordered online but it was worth it.
