Call me old school but CMX wash just fell a bit flat. Seemed to clean OK but the lack of suds just felt weird. Along comes a new Ceramic Wash that is cherry red and has suds galore. Overall a really nice wash which is pretty slick when washing. I have really hard water and I tried a wash that left waterpots that were really difficult to remove. I tried the Mothers Ceramic and the spots wiped off effortlessly as I dried. For a product you can at the big box parts store this is a nice product.
 
I get the strangeness of CMX wash but I still use it. It smells like it contains some sort of solvent and as a result it removes oily stains really well. I use it when I wash planes.
