does not bead well at all. i am very disappointed.

ive used gepc + s100 a lot, and thought this would be superior, it was not.

looks wise I found it less wet. I found it more even but less wet.

When it rained today i was quite mad.

the beads were of uneven size and did not sheet off the car.

i am going to go back to gepc / s100 this weekend, maybe some gepc / moose wax then s100, not sure yet

sam

here is a pic of it 1 hour after the rain, take in mind i did:

dacp, #9, vm and moose wax just 4 days ago, I expected muchj better protection.

not happy with that...

with all the dust on the hood you definately won't get beading. you won't even get sheeting because the water is sticking to the dirty layer on top of the car. give it a wash and expose the clean waxed surface then sprinkle a little water on it and it beads.

everyone in my apartment complex already thinks im a detailing FREAK. i think washing today would be so insane lol... i spent like 6 hours on just sunday! I think I will go quickshine the hood :)

Agreed. I parked my car the other day and about half of it was under a tree. I had just polished with Vanilla Moose and topped with Poorboy's EX-P. It started to rain, then pour. The next morning, it was still raining lightly and when I looked at my car, the front end was beading like crazy but the back end that was under the tree was not beading well at all. The rain washed all sorts of crap from the tree onto my paint. After washing my car, the next time it rained, the beading was uniformly good over the whole car.

I've been getting very good beading long term with VM/CMW on my customers cars, even the ones I don't regularly wash.

I just cleaned half the hood with quickshine, the other half i left dirty.

I am going to take videos of each side as I pour water on them, right now.

same thing happened on each side, slightly faster on the cleaner side. I think it is beading alright, I most likely overreacted. I have to park outside 24x7 so dust just built up prematurely, leading to the poor beading.

That is my conclusion.
