microtek MF towels

So at walmart i saw microtek microfiber towels. Has anyone used these? They had a 8 pack of white/blue ones for $4.96. It seemed like a good deal and felt nice. I know target has vroom ones and viking is at kmart. What towels does BJ's have?

You can purchase 25 at Sam's for $12-13. As well Costco sells a 36 pack for $14.99. Both are good for interior cleaning, polishing chrome, etc. I would not use them on your paint. Microfiber Tech (Microfiber Towels - Microfiber Mops - Microfiber Cleaning Cloths) sells the double-sided 16x24 MF towels for as little as $2.99 each. They only advertise the 16x16 and you will need to call to ask for the 16x24 towels. I hope that this helps.

I dont belong to costco and sam's club is nowhere near me. Maybe they have 1 day passes to costco. So no BJ's? I havent checked auto section yet. So i guess that 8 pack is a rip off to just use on interior/wheels and so on. Ya I guess i wouldnt use them on paint. Is microfiber tech the same as Microtek?

dude are you going to make a post about every kind of MF towel?

there is a search button for all these topic that have been beat to death

YUP......Thank you BigJim.

Seriously though vert youll get much more information on products from multiple threads and people if you search first before starting what people see as "another ______ thread"

Microfibertech has nothing to do with MicroTex. MicroTex is a Chinese mfr., Microfibertech is a US distributor of microfiber products which doesn't get much play on here anymore (not helped by the fact that they only sell in bulk now). I have found their towels to be of excellent quality and very reasonable pricing (their pricing used to be even better).

MicroTex has several levels of quality, ranging from the blue and white crap you saw (which I only use as grunge/throwaway towels) to some very decent towels (which I don't see in my Wal-Mart anymore).

I got the blue and white crap 25 pack for $8. I did the scratch test and unless I'm pressing down really hard it does not make scratches.. I would never press down this hard to detail either..

I use the microtek MF towels for my wheels for drying or using a QD.

I think the Viking all purpose MF towels are more plush than the Wal-mart brand.

the viking mf towels are excellent and are every bit as good as the boutique brands (green quick detailing towel, orange edgeless polishing towel, and the blue/gold drying towels). i bought a few of the green quick detailing towels the other day at k-mart and noticed they seem to be softer (not to say there was anything wrong with them before) and they are the ones that come rolled up now. excellent towels! :up

Can't stand the Microtech towels. The small ones that come in blue and white curl up on the edges the first time you wash them.

Take my monthly trip to Kmart now to get my MF's. I like them enough to not have to pay for shipping and the crazy prices of the boutique brands.

My local Pepboys has a new selection of towels now that I have not had the chance to buy. Also I see that the California duster company now has a selection of towels out that look nice. But at some point I have to get help for this obsesion with buying these MF's.

P.S.-- IF you see a thread being started that doesn't intrigue you, it's simple, don't click on it. Actually, do us all a favor, save the smart *** comments and "Don't click on it!!"
