I tried to remove a grease spot on my Lexus aluminum wheels (Coach Edition) by first using a mild detergent but the stubborn grease could not be removed. I then tried a more aggressive cleaner and started rubbing the grease out, but to my dismay I removed the coating and the black undercoat was staring me in the face. I talked to the Lexus dealer and was told that I just got to live with it. I'm sure some of our members encountered similar problems and would appreciate any suggestions which can hide the blunder which I created. I believe the wheels are powder coated and a simple metallic spray paint would not solve this problem. HELP!
