All I can tell you is that it is a 2 speed, 7", 2.5 amp polisher. Does anyone recognize it? HELP!!

Well it does look like some type of Makita, but the lowest power polisher Makita makes is 6.5 amps. It's probably some knock-off el cheap piece of crap. If you are looking for a rotary send me a PM and can put together a list of good sources for you. :xyxthumbs

I definatly agree that its a Makitia. All the amps are wrong on their polishers on that site. This one looks new but none of their polishers with black handles are that low amprage. Hmmmm..... This was on ebay.ca and a friend up in Canada wanted to know if it was any good. I think I might have misread the amps on it though. It says 2.5 amp no load and 7.5 loaded. I missed that second line. Sorry guys. I'm thinking it might be this one.

I can't figure out why this one has a black handle. Hmmmm... Well, if it is the same polisher that is in my link, would you buy it for less than 30 bucks?

Wow. That sounds like that is probably a winner. Even the price makes sense. It's only going for like 30 bucks on ebay so that is really close. Thanks for the help guys. :xyxthumbs

I got one I think is even better for us...That one has two speeds, but at 2800 and 3300 rpms, I think its too fast...I bought the Wen unit, which also has 2 speeds, but IM more comfortable with the 1200 and 1600 rpms for car finish use...Might take a tad longer for some blemishes, but, its much safer also. Price is comparable. Comes with a velcro backing plate, which is sized right and works well with Meguiars velcro 8" pads.
