Hi, I am new to the forum. I have used zaino but I would like to try a different brand. I've seen an excellent variety of cars that were detailed with meguiars, wolfgang, pinnacle, p21s, poorboy, and klasse products.

I have a question regarding which polish /sealant to use on a 1994 chevy camaro z28 (purple pearl)

and a 2003 ford mustang gt (redfire)? There is so many wax, polish, etc to choose from.

any help would be appreciated!! :xyxthumbs :wavey

Zaino is still as great as ever, a lot of people here seem to be fond of Wolfgang's new line, and the ClearKote products.

Jax, welcome to the boards!

You'll get many different responses to your question as we all have our favorite preps, sealants and waxes and basically they all produce excellent results. I'll let the more experienced detailers give you their advice but I'm in the camp of Clearkote, with Vanilla Moose being my favorite product.

Glad you're here. :D

Hey thanks for welcoming me to the forums guys. I appreciate your replys. I have a camaro z28 with alot of swirl marks; since I have zaino as of now what steps should I do to detail my camaro:

dawn wash

clay

zaino wash

polish?

zfx, z5 or z2?

Well, for your "polish?" step, I'd use Meg's #9 Swirl mark remover. If you have a PC, it's a lot easier IMO. After that, it's advised you do another wash to remove anything that #9 left behind. Maybe use a paint cleaner after that if you want. I like Pinnacles Paint Cleaner. Expensive, but gives my color a really nice "pop". Then go to the Z5 or Z2. I prefer Z5 for darker colors.

The other products you've listed are favorites around here. I'm interested in the Wolfgang line after reading all the posts.
