Help with paint etching

Hi all,
I've been using gyeon ceramic coats on my car. For the last three years.
Some context the paint on the car is about 10 years old since a respray.. Popped in shelter in the open air driven four times a week mostly out of the rain.
The past 2 years I have experienced etching on the paint I assume from water spots or the tap water at home. I used to use a blower to dry off the water on the car if I didn't have time to wash a car.
No I have a small etching marks all over the car. They can be polished off but I would have to use a wood pad if I wanted to get rid of it. It's gotten 50% worse over 9 months.
Any ideas on what could cause this? Solvent pop? Or external factors, acid rain?

I thought we didn't have acid rain anymore? I think acid rain was specific to us in the northeast, is that where you are?

How often do you wash the car? Possibly other atmospheric stuff and bird/insect "stuff" could do that over time if it sits on the car.

I live in Singapore. Don't have much insect or bird droppings, always gets washed off ASAP. One thing that I've started doing is using a leaf blower to try to blow off rain water off the car if I dont wash the car, sometimes not completely dried. In an attempt to reduce water spots. It may have made it worse?

Oh, I think you definitely have acid rain there, if I recall Meguiar's was selling a coating into that market way before they sold coatings here, specifically because of the environmental conditions in your area. Maybe consider a wipedown of the horizontal surfaces with a waterless wash product or one of the many ceramic detailers.

Gyeon has a rinseless product, EcoWash, that is ceramic-infused that can be mixed as a rinseless, waterless, or drying aid. You might try a rinseless as a quick wash of the horizontal surfaces just to minimize anything sitting on the paint.

You can use a rinseless. From my many trips to Singapore, most residential parking is below the residential building so plenty of time to do it. I saw a lot of commercial detailers washing in the garages like at work.
