help with leather seats

I have been using z9 and z10 on my leather seats and I really like the cleaner, but the z10 just isn't cutting it on the seats. They look ok for a couple days, but after that they look worn and dried out. I have tried applying it by hand, with a towel and always the same results. I am assuming the leather is coated right, most newer car seats are from what I have read on here? With that in mind I was thinking about ordering some griots leather care so see if that works any better. The car is a 2001 pontiac trans am if that helps to determine if they are coated or uncoated. Thanks for the help.

Do a search on Leatherique. As far as conditioners go, their PC and RO do the best job in maintaining leather interiors. It is messy and takes a lot of time, but the results are great - leather is softer, creases aren't as obvious, "butt polished" look is reduced, etc. I hear their restoration products are also top notch, but I haven't tried them yet.

As an owner of an Ecru interior in the SC430, leather care is paramount!

I use Einszett Lederpfledge on all leather. It protects and treats it with a mix of oils and waxes. No offensive smell or glossy look.

Some leather products have a kerosene smell as they contain petroleum products to help the products weep into the hide. I do not care for those products, smell terrible and just not the level it should be.

Another product I used was Autoglym leather, another good product. I look for some products that are used on high-end vehicles

See if you can get this in the States or maybe mail order from the UK. It really is the best.

Most major car companies use and rebrand it, furniture stores that sell leather chairs etc use it.
