Grease Gun suggestions

are you asking what one is?

This is a basic one. But I am considring getting either an Air one or an electric one. They are used to grease all of the greasable fittings on your car! Being that im installing a whole new suspension on my car I figured it would be good to have for when I do the install!

Oh, those. I know what those are. I don't know much about brands or the quality of them.

I was just a little surprised, I thought it was a new detailing tool!... LOL

The air ones are great. A click of the trigger dispenses a dose of grease into the fitting. They extra presure does help break loose clogged fittings too. They also are easier to hold the nozzle against the fitting since you only need one hand to use the trigger.

my family owns over the road trucks - many hours with grease gun in hand-

we used to use hand pump ones

we have used a few air powed ones (downside - always dragging a hose with you)

Highly recommend the Lincoln electric guns!
we have had 2 for a few years that grease 1-3 trucks / week. = over 2 tubes per truck.

I would say for personal use you would be better off to save the money and go with a quality lincoln hand gun.
If you are like many guys and simply like to have tools - Then i say go with the lincoln electric. I believe they come in 12 & 14v models.

I have the a grease gun like the first picture that mtmaher1 posted. Its really convienent because you can hold and pump with one hand and hold the greasing end on the nipple without any major issues. It's been working fine for the past 5 years. I just grease with the oil changes so it's only a couple of times a year- so no need for an electric or air one here.

Im more or less seeing if anyone had an electric or air powered one..and how they felt they worked vs. the old pump style

They all suck. Just get one you like the pistol grip as Budman said they are the easiset to use.
