Game 2: Yankees...........

I got a scratch on my side mirror pod, which is painted black plastic, probably from somebody rubbing against it as they walked by. It's about 4 inches long and can be felt with a fingernail. What could I do to get it out or at least reduce the appearance of it?

A scratch that deep will not be removed without painting. However there is a lot that can be done to improve the situation.

My plan would first be to use a foam applicator and a super-fine abrasive like 3M Finesse It II. Using back and forth motions with plenty of FI on the pad, start at the light end of the scratch and work toward the deep end. The idea here is to gradually level out the good paint on the sides of the scratch so that it meets the level of the scratch. You can obviously only take this so far since the paint/clearcoat is only so thick. Any part of the scratch that you "can't" feel with your fingernail should be able to be removed.

The next step would be to touch up the remaining scratch.

AJ was un-hitable. This is going to turn into a very good series. Game 3 should be a good pitching matchup with Cole Hammels and Andy Petit.

One of the best pitching performances I've ever seen!

It's funny. These are the two most powerful offensive teams in baseball, and we have had two very well pitched games from both sides. I think the first game's score was a little misleading, because CC pitched a pretty good game.

I am looking forward to game 3.

This has been an intresting series. for some reason I was thinking it would be a high scoring series, but so far, they have pitched some nasty stuff no one can touch

What is up with Yankee Fan....There so subdued.
You can bet Philly Fan is ready to light the city on fire :scared:
