flex with edge????

wondering if any one uses the edge adapter kit with there flex 3401. If so how do you like it pros and cons does it make it smother and take out some of the vibration thanks
 
I have used it with the edge pads since the adapter became available. Biggest plus is you can use different size pads . Really no negatives that I can think of.
 
this has been out for a while but this is the first that i really took the time to look into it. I don't own a Flex but it seems to be pretty nice. Only bad part is you can't use other pads only the edge pads. I'm not a fan of those . . . . . would be nice if they just made a interchangeable backing plate already for the flex.
 
I have the adapter and the pads and that is all I use. Sold all my velcro. The speed, two sides, and no plates to change is just a no brainer for me. I have the adapters on all my machines.
 
I have 4,6, and a couple of 8s. I cannot get the cut or results with the 8s and therefore I never use them. The 6 are the perfect blend on the Flex and the 4s are needed to do tight spots and scratch repair. As far as the vibration, just practice holding the machine in different ways. I usually hold mine perpendicular to me applying pressure to the shaft and bale handle equally on both sides of the head...instead of holding around the trigger and only one hand controlling the head. The 8s didn't help with that, they are hard to make stay flat and get good coverage IMO
 
I have multiples of them all. The two staples that I use all the time are Green and Blue. I use the waffles with my rotary, but prefer the flat on the Flex.
