Favorite Beading Product

If this has been covered, please post the link(s). Thank you.

I want to know what everyones favorite beading product is. Weather it'd be a wax or a sealant.

You can only have one coat, so it can't be layered or put on top of another wax/sealant. So it has to be the only protection on the car.

I also don't want to hear about how well the car SHEETS water. Kind of like what high end waxes I see do. It's like the water won't even stick to it; which is awesome if I may say.

Secondly, it can not be polycharged. Just once wax/sealant, one layer, all by its lonesome.

Forgot to state that it can't be topped with a QD'er z8, acrylic glos, AW, etc., etc.

So let's here folks!:woot:

The best beading I have ever seen was collinite 845 topped with megs ultimate quick detailer.

Actually, the beading of vintage by itself was just as good, but in a different way.

I would think Vintage wouldn't bead? I would figure since it's so high up there, it'd have that "WATER CAN'T STICK TO ME" look.

MDX, How do you like Ital?

I know it's a cheaper one Zymol offers. By no means am I saying $350+ is cheap. How do you compare it to other waxes you've used?

I can't wait to try my concorso I ordered!

845IW hands down...

Collinite 845 for me.

Actually, FK1 Pink Wax had better initial beading than the 845, but it was on it's way out the door at 2.5 months.

ZFX'd Z2 PRO, FK1 1000P. For me, its about what products bead the same from the day they are applied until at least the 2 month mark. These two products' beading characteristics provide that.

Other nuba products have great beading however, they dont seem to keep the beading longer than a few weeks or less. I.E. Natty Blue, P21S, Souveran.

I liked it i only used it once as i always do with my truck it had a crisper look than souveran. I know PS muted my flake in my silver mdx which I did not like.

It is the older ital so it is yellow nuba not white so I am still looking into getting victoria, concourso and maybe even vintage to compare.

let us know about concourso i am thinking about victoria and UPGP sample kit or concourso

Best beading I've ever attained was with Collinite, nothing else comes close (including the #16 I use on my wife's car). 845 is best at first, but after a wash or three 476S catches up and even surpasses it. If you're only doing one coat, I'd go with 476S.

Edit: But see subsequent post, below

OOPS.... :o

Hey, I'd forgotten about when I used Griot's SpeedShine with a pseudo-spitshine technique while applying #16 via Cyclo! The beading was better and the beads were much more spherical, like tiny little balls that were barely in contact with the paint. Durability seemed slightly compromised though.

I need to try that with the Collinite sometime...until then I'd better back off of my previous post, at least a little bit. With #16 getting hard to find I'd still recommend Collinite for beading, but yeah, #16 can be mighty good in this regard too.
