Edge Velcro Buffing Pads

I got some Edge buffing pads(velcro style) for my PC for Christmas and I have used them a few times already and I'm not very impressed. They seem so cheap and hard compared to the Meguiars pads I have. Do I just need to use them more to break them in or am I right and made a bad decision to try to save a few $$ on pads? Even if they do finally break in, I don't think I will go back to them unless I hit the jackpot and can step up to the expensive Edge double sided pads for the PC attachment.

Don't feel bad.

I shredded the snot out of my first Velcro (Rotary) Edge Pad within the first 5 minutes of use.

They are completely different from the SM Arnold Pads that I am used to, so naturally, they also take a little practice to get used to.

I'm a firm believer that new buffing pads need a bit of a break in before they actually perform up to par. I generally wash and rinse them thoroughly before their first use, and it seems to make things a lot easier.

Keep giving them a try, and eventually I'm sure that they will grow on you.

That's how it's been for me with trying many new products.

Belive it or not, when I first tried UPP and Spray & Wipe, I hated them both.

Now, I couldn't imagine my arsenol without them!

If you still find that Edge Pads aren't your cup of tea, give the ones from SM Arnold, 3M, or Meg's a try. You'll eventually find one that fits the bill!

Good Luck!!
